Short/Long Wave Pass Filter

Short/Long Wave Pass Filter

The key characteristic of the edge filter is accuracy of the spot between rejection region and transmission region. Edge filters are divided into two main groups; Long Wave Pass Filter rejects the short wavelengths and transmits the longer wavelengths. On the other hand, Short Wave Pass Filter rejects longer wavelengths and transmits the short wavelengths.
